Project
Objectives
- To
provide shelter and a homely atmosphere for these deprived children
especially those in very difficult situations who would otherwise
have ended up in the street.
- To
teach. To encourage. But most of all, to interest. Because child-like
curiosity in the right hands can help turn darkness into light.
- To
provide pre-schooling and basic education to the children.
- To
reduce severe and moderate malnutdtion among the children.
- To
help and to get our aged folks out into Society, so that they
become part of our world, making their contrbution and enjoy doing
so.
- To
provide vocational training to teenage mothers and school dropout
girls.
- To boost
the health delivery system in the community.
Programmes
To attend to
the above stated objectives, there are plans:
- To build
an Orphanage complex and nursery
- To build
a vocational institute for illiterates teenage mothers and school
dropouts girls. The building plans and other related official
required documents are all in place. Also ready is the land, however,
lack of funds to implement developmental projects is the major
problem facing the Orphanage.
- To train
and provide Staff to handle the children.
- To solicit
for funds to undertake the above mentioned programmes.
